how many times would you plug/redrill a ball
my question is what the topic is. what many times would you plug and redrill a ball before it affects the performance of it and you move on to a new one? i have a vapor zone that i want to redrill but it already has 3 drills on it and im wondering if i should just move on. thanks guys!

If you are just changing the fit I would not worry about it. I have a ball that I can't even count how many times I have plugged and drilled it with a different fit. On the other hand if you are drilling different layouts I would maybe try 3 at most.cheech wrote:my question is what the topic is. what many times would you plug and redrill a ball before it affects the performance of it and you move on to a new one? i have a vapor zone that i want to redrill but it already has 3 drills on it and im wondering if i should just move on. thanks guys!

In essence, you can plug a ball quite a few times. I max out at 3 because as you are drilling, you are disturbing the core material. As Dustin mentioned above, if you're doing span adjustment then theres no issue because you'll be close to being in the same area. If not then you would really have to like the ball to plug it again.

Re: how many times would you plug/redrill a ball
I bowled a 300 with a MoRich DestroyR that literally has 11 plugged holes around the ball. As long as they're flush to the ball. Also, I have a determinator so I can accurately locate the PSA of a ball, even if it's been plugged several times.

When you penetrate the Core much, it doesn´t matter. You have just your personal designed Ball. The thing is, it should work. So long it works go with it.RightyComplex wrote:In essence, you can plug a ball quite a few times. I max out at 3 because as you are drilling, you are disturbing the core material. But for official tournemets there is a limit of 3 redrills so far i know. But I know that I know not many.

Ducati what else?
