different day, different ball ....

Post by turbotwister »

I have been starting and using my hammer 2.0 or my ghost in the first game on fresh house (they changed oil lately) oil but it's been taking me almost 1 game for the ball to start working (they are coming in late to the pocket no matter where I stand). They are both pearl balls with asym cores and I'm wondering if I should go to my reactive resin ball (sym core) to start the game ,.. I carry a 190 average in 3 different leagues, with moderate ball speed (@ 14) , also with good hook and rotation. What would be a good ball to start with on the fresh...pearl or resin? Thanks for your thoughts....

Surface.
It doesn't matter if it is a Pearl, Hybrid or a Solid, use more surface for the fresh condition.
Just because the Manufacturers sell "Pearl" balls shiny doesn't mean you can't put a dull surface on it.
I played my old Black Widow Pearl at 2000 grit on fresh conditions with excellent results.
