new ball thumb hole

I all. I bought a new ball the other day and instead of an oval thumb hole, I told her to go round (for whatever reason, I'll never know). during league, i was constantly hanging up and thought it might be the pitch. took it in to the ps and had it checked, and all was good. she told me it was most likely the round thumb hole (which makes sense now). instead of leaving the ball there, I decided to bring it home and use my bevel knife and do it myself. so, lesson learned to never make changes that have worked well in the past and leave well enough alone. this is my rant for the year.... bowl on!
