How long does storm ball scent last?

I got a storm HyRoad ball and it has the smell of blueberry. I really like the scent and I wonder how long it will last?

My Virtual Gravity Nano still smells, that ball came out in like 2010 or 2011. And my Gravity Shift which came out in 2008 smelled till it died a year ago. Wasn't drilled till 3 years ago, though. But it kept the smell on the shelf for like 7 years

I bought 2 balls in nationals in 2005 or whenever it was in LA. Hot rod hybrid and banshee both still have smell. I have used the hot rod quite a bit but not the banshee.

I realize that the storm company was putting the sand on their balls, but I thought they were done with that now? The storm ball I bought last week doesn’t have a smell to it; at least not as far as I know.

Unless they've stopped adding the scent you can look on the box the ball came in and see what the odor is. It's probably on their website also. -- JohnP

The only Storm balls that don't have the scents are urethane and plastic. Pitch Black, Mix, Ice, etc.

I don’t believe I’m actually going to go into my bedroom and take my ball out of my bag and smell it?! (lol)

I’ve been a smoker for so long, my nose doesn’t smell much of anything anyway, so I’m probably not going to be able to notice a scent on there. By now I would think that the oil that I’ve got on the ball, from bowling, even though I wiped it off, will smell more prominently than the sent, but who knows!?

Soupy, not all Storm balls are scented.
Everyone that I've had with a scent retained the scent for years. Never had one lose it.

Had a gold IQ Tour I got used that never had much scent. On the other hand I had a couple Vivids that I would wager are stinking up a landfill somewhere (cracked). Yet I have a Reign from what, 09? Still has a fair amount of scent. So, ya never know.

Don't worry, these balls don't lose their scented smells easily. You are good for a few years, minimum.

all three of mine (crux, IQTP, Marvel S) have their scent. The Crux fades a bit until I get it cleaned/surfaced and then my Jeep absolutely is FILLED with pomegranate smell. The IQTP doesn't smell much (butterscotch) but it's there. The Marvel S (which is old, now) still has a definite minty smell but when it gets cleaned/surfaced, then it's BIG minty, which combines quite well with the pomegranate.

The Blackberry smell of my Punch Out is still strong as the day I got it.
