Heels

Post by MikeW »

Once upon a time it was simple, get new shoes, wear them round the house for an hour or two, bowl a game of practice and they're good for the next 5 years. But ~10 years ago I got new shoes and the heels were like a tailhook on a fighter. Heel down and I stop, right now. Eventually I made them work with a light layer of superglue on part of the heel. Couple of years later I bought a pair of Dexters. They were always a good mid grade brand. Same thing. Finally broke down and got a pair of Hammer shoes with changeable soles and heels. Better, but still lacking.

So now the sole seems ok, but they came with 3 heels. One is more slippery than the sole, the other two have absolutely zero slide. What can I get that will slide a little, but not a whole lot?

I'm hands on, I can mix and match brands, glue velcro on heels, do all sorts of things, it's not like they have to be the right brand for exactly the right ???
