Track changed

Post by SomyP »

Taking the off season to mostly rehab and get in better shape. Overall I feel okay, but I noticed that after physical therapy, my track had changed.

I use to have a spinners track due to having 27* of tilt, but now my track is a 3/4 roll but soft hand release. It's closer to my thumb and decently away from my fingers, but no longer a spinners track.

Will my PAP change significantly and do I need to drill up new equipment due to potential PAP change? PAP is 4 over by 1 inch up. Speed is 15mph, 350 rpms, rotation is 50ish degrees or so. And tilt is down to maybe 17-20 degrees now.

What was your old PAP?
How is the speed measured?

You need to remeasure your layouts from the new PAP and see what you got.

Now consider your new release specs.
Figure out the range and see how your new layout numbers fit into it.

Then take them all out for some more practice before making a decision as to whether or not to rework your arsenal.
A drop in Tilt by 10 degrees will definitely get the balls to read the lanes earlier.
If you are lucky all you will need to do is make some surface changes to tune it in.

Seems Eric was right on the money. Surface changes are all I needed which helped my game and after a rough 165 start I finished with 238 and 256 for a 659 set. Right around average but played the right part of the lane and made the right moves.
