I recently had a ball given to me and had it plugged and re-drilled for me. it's a Columbia 300 Swerve reactive resin, asym. The ball is old and I'm looking for a new ball that would be a good replacement. Do you have any ideas for a replacement? I'm looking towards The One, the 3D offset or maybe even the Gem. How do you think they might compare to the Swerve? thanks
.

Hi, Turbo!
I see that your post has gone unanswered, and I'll give you my two-cents worth.
However, you should wait on a response from the "experts" in Michigan.
Your stuff is all lower RG and Higher DIFF. The Swerve in a lower iDIFF and as such is more SYM-like.
Attached is how I go about looking at pieces for my arsenal - your mileage may vary.

Re: bowling ball replacement
Glenn,
Interesting visual aid.
I did my own research. Manufacturers' websites.
I came to the conclusion that the 3-D Offset would be the closest replacement option of the given balls.
Very similar core properties and surface prep out of the box.
turbotwister,
What pound? What layout is on the Swerve?
With my research I did find another option...
