"I throw a 16 lb ball, I throw around 17.75 to 18.50 mph which is super fast. How am I able to slow myself down to let the ball work? P.s I'm also 7 foot tall with a big back and forward swing. TIA"

Wes Malott. Wes about 6'5"
Things to note, height of ball in his stance, length of the footwork, bent elbow, and extreme forward tilt of the upper body.

Re: 7 foot tall bowler seeking help.
Really hard to say without seeing a video of how he throws the ball. Being tall does not always mean you throw the ball hard. I have bowled with a guy for years who is 6' 7" and he throws the ball 13mph.
