The issue is not getting it to work, the issue is there are a great many security risks associated with flash. So much so that windows does not officially support Flash player, and I do believe those issues exist on any platform flash runs on. The only way I personally would run any flash player based app is in a VM that I can shut down to prevent any sort of attack on the rest of my PC.

Probably. You can put it on an Apache server and then it will run anywhere.
I typically do things, anymore, in C# and then compile it for both Windows and Mac.

Re: Program for drilling ovals
Hello everyone, this is a program I wrote many many years ago, when flash was the standard for web apps. Right now I'm not sure I'll re-write it. I'm sorry.
If you think I helped, please click on the "+" button, Thanks.

Re: Program for drilling ovals
I've taken the plunge and written an Ovalator equivalent in Javascript/HTML/CSS.
This was written very quickly using no external libraries, just stock JS and canvas. It seems to do what it needs to. I'll clean it up and publish it or hand it off to Megamav for hosting here, if that makes sense.
PM me for a link and I'd appreciate any feedback on the functionality. Code will get cleaned up over the holiday break.

Re: Program for drilling ovals
The "new" web friendly Ovalator is here on BowlingChat at
https://ovalator.bowlingchat.net/.
I wasn't sure what the original UI looked like, so this was from memory. I had some fun with the little canvas animation, hope it's helpful. Any feedback, issues or ideas welcome.
Thanks to Eric for hosting.
