Yeah, the changes haven't all been positive.
I brought 6 teams every year from 2009-2022. In 2023, I only had 4 (Reno fatigue) and now I'm out of the Captain's Club. So like Pinbuster said, all the good/preferred times are gone for 2025 already.

3-6-10 and 3-10 split
Howdy folks. I've been bowling for 48 years and have had my fair share of success, but I'm looking for help all of a sudden. I'm a righty fyi. The last year or so, I've simply lost confidence in covering these spares and it's definitely a problem. I always use a plastic ball, and my conversion rate ...

Re: Poll - Keep ball reps out of active competition?
I voted yes. I suppose if I was an elite player, bowling on tour for a living I'd have a different answer.

Anybody Ever Fly Overseas with Bowling Balls?
I'm nervous about putting my 3 ball tote on an airplane, heading over to bowl in China this summer for a tournament. Has anybody put say, a 2 ball tote in a regular suitcase, and had any issues? Just trying to keep my equipment safe, and avoid any hassles. Thanks

Re: Hammer 3D Offset
Your wording is confusing, but I can say the Blazing Violet was one of my all-time favorites.
If you're asking what present-day hammer is similar, I'd say the Rip'D hybrid.

Re: Rules question!
Rule 303 gives the tournament manager quite a bit of discretion in regards to rules and the prize list. But I do think you may have a legitimate beef here, so look at Rule 329 and protests. I'm sure many have seen tournaments that have the "optional scratch" fee, so it can avoid these type...

Re: My USBC Open Experience
I bowled 4/27 & 4/28, and didn't have a good tournament. It's disappointing to me, because in team I felt fine, was rolling it ok (Legion solid), but threw 4 splits on turkeys or doubles...killing any good vibes I was getting. D & S I started right around 10, but by the 2nd game is was stand...

Re: 2015 USBC Open Championships Strategy
I just got back from El Paso, bowled Fri March 20, Saturday March 21. Some of the perils of going so early are that write-ups like Mo's aren't quite ready yet. I did some homework via the Chris barnes USBC video about it, and Mike Jasnau's podcast. Anyhow, it all comes down to execution and ball cho...

Re: 2015 US Open Patterns Released
I am getting ready to ship my stuff on March 12th. Looks like I'm taking my Grease Monkey Pow, Pivot, a plastic spare ball, and undecided on the 4th one. I'm leaning on the UpRoar, but considering my Hammer Brawl or 900 Train. Should be a challenge indeed. We all need to focus on shot making, but ba...
