After working on some swing changes this summer, I recently checked my PAP using my plastic spare ball, and found it to be 5-1/16> & 7/8^. My original PAP was measured off of a strong asym last fall and was 4-3/4> & 1-1/2^. Swing changes have been for the better, as my ball reaction has definitely improved.
So, is it still considered accurate to measure the PAP using a plastic ball, or should it be measured using a reactive ball, and if so, a strong ball, weak ball, or does it matter? What's the best way?

Re: PAP Question
I always measure it using a low flaring ball.

Re: PAP Question
The PAP is a function of your release. Using a high flaring ball will make it more difficult to determine the PAP at the time of the release. A low flairing ball simplifies the task.
