i just received 2 Gusto's. 1st ball is 3-4" pin with 1.9 top. 2nd ball is 3-4" pin with 2.7 top.
Looking to drill ball # 2 like a 30 x 5.5 x 60. Ball # 1 I am considering a Rico drilling because of the low top weight.
I am looking to use these balls on a short sport shot like 33 to 35 ft with strong back ends in the middle of the lane and tight outsides.
I would love to hear what Mo would suggest for me.
What hand you bowl with-Right Handed
Speed –about 14.5 mph
Rev Rate-285
Initial Axis Rotation-about 30 %
Initial Axis Tilt-17%
What surface you want the ball for? Synthetic
What lane condition you are bowling on most of the time-for this layout sport shot-33 ft with strong middles and heavy outside oil
Do you think you are speed or revolutions dominate? Revolutions

Any suggestions or idea's?? Thanks in advance for any help!

Check out this link for the items we need in order to recommend a proper layout.

I always start by figuring out your benchmark.
Your rev dominance puts you at 105* total
your tilt/rotation with rev dominance is a 1.75:1 ratio
Asymmetrical Benchmark 65-4-40

Your suggestion 30-5.5-60 basically puts the Pin in or very close to your middle finger.
I would suggest (pin in middle finger) 45-5.5-~60
A slightly larger drilling angle so your ball isn't revving up too early. Your low rotation gets the ball to read the lane early as it is.
I think a Rico type drilling would be a good way to complement. ~45-5-80 P4

Not a fan of Rico! It's not valid mathematically or dynamically.
