What hand you bowl with- Right Handed
Speed-19.2 at release
Rev Rate-320-360
Initial Axis Rotation-unknown
Initial Axis Tilt-unknown
PAP- 5-1/16 1- 1/2 up
What surface you want the ball for- I bowl on many different types of surfaces
What lane condition you are bowling on most of the time-pbax, sport, kegel etc.
Do you think you are speed or revolutions dominate? maybe a slight bit speed dominate.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Everyone's going to ask you to try to figure your tilt and rotation.
Without video it's pretty hard to measure rotation. If your PAP faces the left wall during the first 10-15 feet of the approach then your rotation is 0* (total forward roll). If your PAP faces towards you for that portion of the lane then your rotation is 90* (total side roll). Halfway is 45*.
The "easy" method of measuring your tilt is to measure the diameter of your initial track (the oil ring closest to your thumb hole). 13.5" is 0* tilt and every 1/2" smaller diameter correlates to a 3.33* increase in tilt.

there is an optical illusion happening. I the ball looks like halfway inbetween 0* and 90*, it is actually 60*. There are some charts on the wiki you can look at.

Welcome
I am interested in what Mo gives you. Based on what you have given us you are:
24* tilt
30*-45* rotation
19.2 at release
320-360 mph
My guess is you would be around 70* sweet sums with a 1:1 ratio. (I think speed dominance will counter rotations being slightly low for ratios) longer pins asymmetrical to lose tilt. Maybe 35* 4.5 35* P3 or P4 (asym)
JUST GUESSING. WAIT FOR MO BEFORE DRILLING

Elgavachon is really close, as I expected. You are slightly speed dominant with a lower track. That gives you a sweet spot of about 75* + 20*. Angle ratios of 1:2 to 1.25 to 1.wjusterbowler wrote:Thanks for the reply. Hopefully Mo will reply soon as well im really interested in his layout suggestions
Bench mark for sport is: 30 / 4 1/2 / 40 with a P3 hole
Heavy oil: 20 / 5 / 30 with a P4 hole
Drier lanes and burnt wood: 40 / 4 / 50 with a P2 hole
ENJOY! By the way, great posting by The Kid. He's obviously more computer literate than I am.
