Kudos to Eric, Kelly, and all the key players.
Any recommendations or prerequisite reading material for folks such as I who know little to nothing about the subject or is this from the ground up?
Thanks

May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.

Not a ton, just a few basic terms. Like, what a pin is, what the CG or PSA is, what a PAP is, etc....kajmk wrote:Kudos to Eric, Kelly, and all the key players.

I've noted some of this already and pm'd Mega with suggestions. He's looking into adding some basic terminology and other basic concepts into the first course. If you do encounter something confusing, feel free to PM me, and to send a PM to Mega about possibly adding clarification to the course material.

You are a tricky devil! I really like the test, especially the "real-world" examples.

Re: BowlingChat University - The Next Big Thing in Bowling E
Very nicely done! Some things I thought of during the first exam (I've only done the first course):
1 - Performance is gonna be a problem for a timed exam. There is significant delay when submitting questions...expect a 10-20s delay. I read another post saying kellytehuna is attempting to address this (not too bad though...could be worse...could be Java! just say'n lol)
2 - Exam questions are definitely fair and cover the material well enough for a beginner exam
3 - Man, I wish I had a glossary/reference card for all the terms sometimes. Not so much the simple stuff like mass-bias, PSA, and CG...more along the lines of the different differential measurements, RG measurements, and maybe some easy ways to remember their respective impact. Kinda thinking of a "pro-shop cheat sheet" kinda thing...
Overall impression...Love it! Thanks!
