Has there been a change in the way BC handles cookies?

Post by Graaille »

Only reason I ask is because I'm getting asked to log in about every day/every other day on my browser, even if I specifically check 'remember me'.

I've not cleaned my cookies from my cache, and other websites autolog me in with no problems. Just trying to eliminate external factors before resorting to voodoo.

I dont have a problem.

Are you using this URL: http://forum.bowlingchat.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;?
Using BowlingChat.net/forum is not the same thing.

Yep, using forum.bowlingchat.net. Interesting. I'll have to look at it further. But thanks for confirming no updates.

Probably the only advice I can give you is to clear out the bowlingchat cookies and relogin again.

The only anomalies I've ever encountered have been when I've logged in via a Kindle or other such device. I almost never use a remember me option etc (personal preference, good or bad).

Access via these other devices is often challenging, in part do to operator flub up and perhaps sometimes a poor handshake between device and site hardware.

Just my two cents.
May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.
