John, I thought maybe that expression was a regional phenomenon! Glad someone picked up on it.

Eric, yes please re. Saturday. Blowing off a steel drum gig (again!) to make it Saturday, but the wife wants to play in a golf tourney on Sunday. Got to keep her happy, especially if I roll in late Saturday night with a Hook'r in tow!

Kudos to everyone who made the seminar a success this year. While it was indeed a smaller crowd this year, that provided for much more interaction between bowlers and more individual help from Mr. Mo himself.

Mo said he would push us past what we thought we could do and he delivered full force on that promise. At this point I have been off the lanes for about 4 hours and my quads are burning and it feels as though i am sitting on a tennis ball...yes a tennis ball, not a golf ball as Mo promised but rather a tennis ball...what a pain in the gluteus maximus!!!

The 6 P's, Focal Points on the next lane and open hand positions are all things I have taken from the seminar this year. Working on the open hand through my backswing will help me control the lanes better and will aid in the development of proper mechanics to further my game.

I want to give Mav a special shout out for taking the time to help me dial in the content and help make sense of how it fit into my game. Who would have thought that opening my hand through the swing would actually help clean up my ball reaction down the lane and make the ball finish stronger at the pins?

Gentlemen....I am a believer.....keep the quality information coming, it can do nothing but help the sport we all love.

I had a wonderful experience at the clinic. A great big thanks goes to Mo and Eric for following through on their promise to help me with the issues in my game. Selfishly, I was happy with the small turnout. Each one of us recieved Mo's undivided attention on the lanes. Like Doug stated in his post, I was really sore after Saturday's session. A hot shower and 4 advils did the trick. Mo worked us hard, each segment was like building a house: finish position, then follow through, then playing different conditions.

The classroom sessions were very informative and enjoyable. The videos Mo presented to us were precise in what he was teaching. I bought the download of the presentation and from watching the video of Dan, it brought me right back to Saturday. Mo changed my stance where now I am holding the ball low instead of by my chest, he has me keying on feeling the weight of the ball on my index and middle fingers throughout the swing, shorten and quicken the 3rd and 4th steps and open the hand as the ball arrives at my hip in the downswing. Watching Dan's video, it illustrated what Mo was teaching me. My mantra for now on is QUICK, QUICK, OPEN!! I was glad that Eric was bowling on my pair to give me instant feedback if I was doing it right and gave me some suggestions to get a visualization on where the hand should be at different points of the swing.

On Sunday, we learned about spin time and that really opened my eyes on how to choose a ball and to make sure the driller knows what he is doing. We bowled a lot more and each of us learned where to stand to hit the 2nd board on the lane (thanks to Eric for that and also lining me up for the Shark pattern).

Mo determined everyones sweetspot (me-85) and made grip suggestions. My grip was fine and the only adjustments were the shaping of the top of the hole to help me clear the thumb better, change my inserts (turbo quads) from the oval mesh side to the smooth side and to add 1/8 reverse in the fingers to help me open the hand and come out of the ball smooth.

Mo also made ball suggestions to us. He suggested a Hell Raiser Revenge and when i asked him which Morich ball can I buy from him to compliment the HRR, he suggested the HookR.

I left there a very happy man. Now to work on everything and get it down pat.
