List Books in the Wiki
How about having a section in the Wiki for books? Could we have them rated too by those of us who read them?
Re: List Books in the Wiki
Shooting from the lip! This is a quick response. Better ideas may occur to others and myself.TrashHeap wrote:How about having a section in the Wiki for books? Could we have them rated too by those of us who read them?
This is a stake in the ground/starter, nothing more, nothing less.
As a start, how about if readers of this thread list what they've read, watched, or listened too.
From recollection rate it on a numerical scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best.
Subscribe to the thread, keep your own running tally on a spreadsheet.
Post a revised copy of that spreadsheet to the wiki on a monthly basis or some other interval.
This helps to make it a dynamic instrument.
In the interim, use the Search facility and you will turn up some info.
If you have any in mind, create a post with a poll
Resource examples: http://www.bowlingbookstore.com/home.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.amazon.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You may find some product description in either of the resources named above.
I'll create a few just for fun and prototype
Be sure use controls on the voting
Prototypes have been created, e.g. Search for " 123xyz" which was embedded as a potential unique string.

May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.

To search for all, try typing this into the search key "Search Key: 123xyz"
