Full roller layouts...
I know all about the leverage and strong full roller layouts.. But what other layouts are out there for full rollers. I'm finding more and more people that are full rollers and complain they can never get a ball that reacts weaker. Also can the gradient line system be used for a full rolled? Full roller layouts are the one area I really haven't learned enough about.

Re: Full roller layouts...
Yeah I know both of those...I have seen bowlers with other layout for full roller, I know Kurt Pilon does a lot of different ones. I am wondering how the layouts can be altered to change ball reaction. I have a couple full rollers who have trouble with either full roller layout hooking too much.....

The drilling instructions linked above include a "full roller length" layout for symmetric balls. The description of the reaction is:
"For full rollers this layout minimizes both track flare and overall reaction while providing excellent length."
I've never used this layout, so can't recommend it. -- JohnP

I've seen that layout before, but never tried it for anyone tho. Might have to try it out.

Can't see any reason why you couldn't drill a full roller with the pin on the PAP, except that getting it wrong could be ugly. Or pin in track for that matter, syms will have the mb start close to the track too, but asyms could be tweaked with the mb location. Will a FR flare correctly (away from holes) with pin in track and mb on the NAP side?

I NEVER recommend pin on the PAP layouts. Too often the PAP changes with that layout and the ball can, then, roll over almost every gripping hole in the ball.

Re: Full roller layouts...
I agree with that Mo. It is nothing but bad news....Are there ways to reduce flare for full rollers while still missing the gripping holes?? Also is there any system for weight holes that can be used?? I am running into more and more full rollers. Also, I have one bowler who doesn't use his thumb and he is very close to a full roller rolling over the thumb so he throws a lot of full roller layouts. The issue is he uses his pinky as well how should I pitch his fingers and pinky to lower his track and give him some tilt??
