yes.. I was thinking that too.. but was told that it is really too strong for dry lanes..
and that the Emerald Vibe would be better..

How dry are you talking? The emeralds I've seen are all too much to be really considered for dry or light oil. The cherry is a good bit longer, and still has a fair amount of pop

something similar to the green gargoyle..
I'm not talking super dry but something that will still be angular on dry.. most stronger angular balls lose that angularity once the heads and mids are just a bit dry.. the dry tends to smooth out the reaction.

That is the other problem.. I get mixed reviews on every ball.. Everyone I talk to says the Emerald is for dryer lanes and is longer and more angular than the Cherry..

The Cherry isn't as angular as the emerald, but it is longer.

It is still strong in the backend though.

I've seen quite a bit of movement out of the emeralds comparatively. About 4 boards overall more, and a bit earlier. I've not seen any visionary, so I can't comment on which would be the closest. Just, from what i've seen of the emerald, if there's any backend available, and it's drilled reasonably strong (3-5" pins), it's got no problems on the medium stuff.
