Hi all,
My #14 low flare Radical Cyclops Pearl 115x1.75x45 performance fitted by Mo cracked over the summer while sitting in an air conditioned space. I have a new in the box Rhino Pearl with the R-16 reactive cover stock. Thinking that the core of the Radical (0.048) is stronger than the Rhino (0.03) with the Rg between the 2 balls about the same, am I way off base if the drill the Rhino totally strong at xx-4.0-35 to have it behave similar to the Radical? Thanks and I look forward to your suggestions.

I don't know how different the coverstocks are.
If they are at all similar using a totally strong layout will make it stronger than the Cyclops.
I would go with something like xx-2.75-45 to get it to roll similar to the Cyclops.

Re: Rhino Pearl equivalent to Radical Cyclops low flare drilling
Hi Eric, thanks for the recommendation. I don't know enough about the respective pearl covers either. If we assume that both covers were about the same and that these balls were designed for light oil conditions, the Cyclops had the spindle core verses the Rhino's light bulb core. Using the same low flare drilling, do you think that the spindle core is the stronger of the 2 cores since Radical claimed better continuation? Having said that, would you change your suggestions based on these assumptions?

I based my recommendation on the Total Differentials of them.
