Drill spec for short fingertip layout

Post by driller »

Hello,
People with short spans like teenagers (let say 3 1/2" span) will have a lot of forward on both fingers and thumbs (if follow the old chart).
Will that really be good for them.Wont it be better to add more reverse on those players, at the fingers at least?

I have also heard to do this finger reverse (compared to the old chart) at longer spans too for a more modern release. What do you think about that?
This in combination with more forward on thumb angle.

When you calculation your fingers spec in front/reverse direction. Do you reduce with the slug lifts if use? Lifts are 3/16" forward. that's a big value.
I can't read at manuals how to count with that.
