Medium Tilt Low Rotation Question

Post by bowlingforsoup »

a bowler that has 15 tilt and say 25 to 30 axis rotation. Would you consider layouts as if he had low tilt? His tilt is in the medium range But balls seem to rollout quickly on our really screaming backends wet/dry houseshot.

We’re missing a key piece of information, ball speed and rev rate.

Rev dominant with low rotation, would need to stay in the oil to get the ball down the lane, or use weaker covers and control/ low flare layouts if bowling in the friction.

That was my thinking to.Its like hes got low tilt. Our houseshots are terrible. One house has no loads from 6 out then maybe 1 to 10.then the middle does have oil but seems like 38 ft.You try and play tight it exits the pattern and its left.Guys with 17 plus speed seem to overcome it.lower speed bowlers struggle.

Could be a pattern like Easy Street 38' (see attached).

With dual angle layouts, the ratio of drill to VAL angle is determined by the bowlers tilt (for asymm balls), and rev/ speed dominance influences the sum of angles, so if those stats are off their hand, you'd be looking at a benchmark ratio of 2:1 and a sum of about 115.
