2 finger bowler
I have a two finger bowler that has a thumb hole and tracks like a full roller ....He is going to need the thumb hole plugged to meet new rule changes ...I am wondering if we will need to do a complete plug and move the pin to above the finger ..At present he has a full roller lay out with the pin in the 7:30 position and cg in the center of the grip ...Any help or insight will be appreciated...Steve S

What is his PAP?
With the classic full roller PAP of 6 3/4 over 2 up should allow normal layouts to be utilized.
I would just plug the thumb hole first and see how it rolls. I could be interesting data to see how things change when plugging extra holes.

Re: 2 finger bowler
Which brings the question: How much does the location of the center of mass removal affect ball motion. By plugging the thumb you are effectively placing the pin farther away from the center of removed mass in a full roller layout whereas on a pin up layout by plugging the thumb you are effectively placing the pin closer to the center of mass removed...

Re: 2 finger bowler
thanks for the reply...I am going to try one ball by just plugging the thumb to see what reaction I will get...No matter what the results it will need plugged anyway ...
