Layouts for high Tilt Player

Post by Prazzo »

Hey Everyone,

I have a quick question concerning a Player I am Working with. She has a high Tilt.

Her Specs are:

Tilt: 26 degress
Axis Rotation: 65 degress
Launch Speed: 16 mph (specto meassured)
Rev rate: 270rpms (specto meassured)

The Problem we are facing is, that her Ball does Not read quick enough especially on longer and Heavier oil patterns. The Backendmotion is quite weak. She Cannot create any room for error. When She Misses Right the Ball Never slows down quick enough. Resulting in alot of washouts or 2/8/10.

What Kind of Layouts and Type of Balls can be suggested for that Type of Player:

1.) Skid - Snap (more for longer patterns)
2.) Control - Benchmark
3.) early read and Smooth
4.) one Layout Maximum boards Covered

Any advice is Highly appreciated.

Thank You in Advance.

I'd benchmark her with an asym.
Katana Slash - 40 x 4.5 x 50 @ 2000 surface

Long oil situation:
Katana Dragon - 25 x 5 x 40 @ 1000 surface
