Roto grip layout advice

Post by Taz6440 »

I just bought the halo with a three inch pin. Drill it using Roto grip 3 1/2-5-3 love back end movement. What kind of ajustments in this layout would need to be made to change mid lane with out changing back end finish on future ball layouts.

So we are talking the same language is the attachment accurate?
I prefer the dual angles.
The drilling angle correlates to the second number in the VLS, the distance from the PAP to PSA. Making that distance smaller decreases the Drilling Angle. The smaller the Drilling Angle the sooner the ball will rev up making the skid zone shorter helping the ball read the midlane. Conversely making the distance from the PAP to PSA longer, increasing the Drilling Angle, makes for a longer skid zone.

How is your speed measured?

I always start with figuring the Asymmetrical Benchmark then work from that.
Sweetspot 90* Totals and 1:1 Ratio

3 1/2-5-3 (58-3 1/2-63) This layout is close to Control Totals and Benchmark Ratio

For what you are asking the layout adjustment would be 38-3.5-63 (3.5 x 4 1/8 x 3)

The totals are slightly over your Benchmark with Benchmark Ratio

The thing you have to realize is when you get the ball to use energy in the front or midlane it will change how much energy is left for the back end.

Other options could be .......
Asymmetrical Benchmark ................... 45-4-45 (4 x 4 1/8 x 2 5/8)
Benchmark totals Control Ratio ........... 35-4-55 (4 x 3 5/8 x 3 1/8)
Both of these layouts will have the pin in the ring finger. Adjust as necessary to drill the pin out completely.
