Burgandy Hammer

Post by lpc300 »

Hi all. A friend of mine gave me a Burgandy Hammer to drill for him. I am having trouble with the layout... not because of how he bowls or what he wants, but because there seems like no typical markings on the ball. No pin, no noticeable MG. Only the Hammer label. Am I missing something? And if not, how do I lay the ball out using the dual angle method?

Oh, and one more piece of information. This is a redrill. Ball was plugged once. I am wondering if the pin might be in the ring finger.

There should be a reddish-orange pin. If you don't see it, it's in one of the fingers. The CG is the Burgundy logo. I think the center of the circle is it.

You should be able to look thru the insert if you see the stem of the pin. The pin is the same color as the ball.

Is it an Original Faball Burgundy or the new Reacta-Thane Burgundy?

Try sanding the ball dull. The pin will reveal itself unless of course it is in the plugged finger hole. At least it will help confirm your suspicions.
