A friend asked me about this layout and my first thought was the bowler was a full roller - but it's not quite right, and AFAIK the bowler is not a full roller.
Hustle Ink, solid sym. Right handed release, and it was described as a condition specific layout. I don't believe there is a weight hole.
Any thoughts/ideas as to why this layout/pin position would be used?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Unusual layout, any thoughts?
This came out of a conversation we were having about the Hustle Ink that Matt O'Grady used late in the final match of the ToC with the pin up and to the right of his middle finger.
My assumption was that it was simply a low flaring pin position given Matt's PAP - but I really don't know. He looks like a low to moderate tilt bowler, but hard to say where he is tracking on the dark colored ball.

Re: Unusual layout, any thoughts?
Yes, my thought exactly. The PSO (a very accomplished pro) has described it to my friend as "THE layout" for particular challenge patterns, but I have no additional information. Simply marketing?MegaMav wrote:Someone trying to be cute.

It does look like a full roller layout, and I think I see the shadow of some full roller oil rings. -- JohnP

Re: Unusual layout, any thoughts?
Yes, looking more closely I see them too.
Perhaps the PSO quote was misinterpreted. It may be "THE layout" for this particular bowler, not the condition. That would make a lot more sense.

These all just appear to be full roller layouts.
