Raising my track

Post by sutherngent »

When I used to bowl, before a 13 year layoff, I had a pretty high track, just outside the fingers and thumb. Now it is much lower, about 2 inches below the finger and thumb. What do I need to change to bring my track up closer to the finger and thumb? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

High track is not good in the modern game.
A track diameter of 11" is close to optimal and will allow for the most versatility.
High tracks have a tendency to flare over the fingers when the pin in placed lower.
Roll with it, its obviously natural to you.

What Mega said plus also, position of the track may not be as important as your axis tilt.
