Not sure how many know that Tony is a resident of Puerto Rico. Let's all keep Tony and his familia in our thoughts that they have not been heavily affected by storms.

Been thinking about you Tony. Hope you and yours are safe.

So much suffering in the world, some by nature some by man.
Best wishes to all who are , have, or will be in harm's way.

I just received an email from Tony.

He and his family are safe and have sufficient food and water.

He said gas lines have a 6-8 hour wait!

His spirits still seemed good as he said he missed bowling and might go down to the beach and roll a few coconuts.

Any suggested layouts for this Eric?

I'm pretty sure coconuts have a fixed layout, surface changes and balance holes would be the only options.

I would refer to the rules for Lawn Bowls
As defined by Wikipedia.....
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bowls" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Bias of bowls
Bowls are designed to travel a curved path because of a weight bias which was originally produced by inserting weights in one side of the bowl. This is no longer permitted by the rules and bias is now produced entirely by the shape of the bowl. A bowler determines the bias direction of the bowl in his hand by a dimple or symbol on one side. Regulations determine the minimum bias allowed, and the range of diameters (11.6 to 13.1 cm)

Im thinking that weight holes would be illegal, but the shape of the Bowl would be options to work with. Along with the fact Tony is a no-thumber, adapting to this game would be quite natural.

As far as the extremely High Friction sand beaches I would suggest a polished surface.

Tony, I know you, your loved ones, and the residents of all those ravaged by the storms have been on the minds of many.

It is great to know your are safe and have a place of refuge with your father.

Mother nature has transferred you all back several hundred years in time.

I love that song Tony. Thanks for sharing.

Just a comment on the coconut spheres.
The great thing about them is no matter how you lay them out, they all have a sweet roll, a natural scent, and reusable oil.
While money does not grow on trees, these balls do.

Stay safe, I know you are strong!
May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.
