Hi I am newbie here, 2-handed rightie
As I defined my PAP, found that it is at a very high position than usual, it is just 1 1/2" below the bridge 4" to the right (I don't measure it from the center of grip, just directly to the bridge)
May I ask that is it a problem?
My specs:
17mph off-hand, 375rpm
65* AR, 7-10* AT
Very high PAP location - need advices

your PAP location is quite normal.
Are you measuring down first then over or are you measuring to the right and then down?
Measuring to the right then down would be the correct way to measure. Then when you lay out a new ball you work from the PAP, measure up the VAL then back over to your grip center.

My layout is very basic with PIN above the bridge, as my balance hole is not at the position of thumb hole so I did not mention it (or tell abt CG)
What I did is to draw center line, then draw a line through PAP perpendicular to the center line, then measure up to the bridge and right to the PAP
Is it a way for PAP locating?
Re: Very high PAP location - need advices
You should draw a line perpendicular to your centerline, through your center of grip (bridge). Then you draw a line perpendicular to that through your pap. That line would be named your Vertical axis line or more often referred to as your VAL line. First you measure how much to the right (over) your VAL line is and then you measure up or down to your PAP.2HBowler wrote:

Re: Very high PAP location - need advices
Thanks gunso, but how can I define my center of grip when I only have 2 finger holes? That why I use bridge but in my understanding it is the space b/w 2 finger holes. my theory is that the line through the 2 holes is the bridge, the line perpendicular and in between the 2 holes is the center line
Re: Very high PAP location - need advices
you're right, center of grip is basically the center of the bridge. You draw a line through both your finger holes, perpendicular to the centerline and measure that distance as over and a line perpendicular to that line up/down to your pap and then you have your pap coordinates.2HBowler wrote:Thanks gunso, but how can I define my center of grip when I only have 2 finger holes?
