i was thinking on getting a storm super gate, although they are pricey ($325 shipped) wondering if anybody has used one.

The Super Gate looks just like a Sure Lock - same cover and similar aggressive low RG asymmetrical cores with high diff and PSA. I don't believe it's worth an extra $100 or so for something so similar. However, if you have the cash for cool and exotic toys, don't let me stop you from having fun.

The US releases AFAIK are the most successful designs.
I had a guy bring in the no rules extreme, "super hooking overseas monster ball".
That ball couldn't read high street any better than a sky rocket. LOL

I have yet to see a pattern that the Surelock does not read well.

I found one - the 2012 Open Championships pattern in my sport shot league. I had my worst night of the season using the Sure Lock on it. However, that may have been more operator error than anything - I just couldn't find anything to get me over the hump. And other than that night, the ball has been very very good for me.
