I didn't see there was a rate change, let me hunt some more, I'll find something or I'll call a hotel and work something out.

I looked these up for 2 night stays, Friday and Saturday night.
All of these put you 15 minutes from the center, there is a big concert going on Saturday night at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL - Rob Zombie,
Five Finger Death Punch, Mastodon, Amon Amarth.

Anyway, here is what I found thats affordable.

Latham Hotels - 2 Star:

Travelodge Inn and Suites Latham - $69/night.

Microtel - $67/night

Super 8 Latham - $68/night

Latham Hotel - 3 star:

Hilton Garden Inn - $129/night

I am really interested in the seminar and I am only 2.5 hours away from Bergen, NJ.

The question I have though: How much will an average THS bowler benefit from this? I would love to bowl like the FDU girls that practices at my local house, but I can't afford to spend 30 hours a week working on my game (I asked one of the girl). On top of that I can't even walk straight resulting my upper body going way forward away from my slide leg (chicken wing) or falling off the shot and pulling it...

I planned a trip to Foxwoods at the end of the month and was thinking of stopping by Buddies' Proshop to check my span (having really bad burn on my ring finger, I know I have the death grip). I went to a different driller about a year ago and he moved my ring finger back 1/8" saying it would help me stay behind the ball better (and it did until I decided to bowl summer league where my hand just balloons up...).

Thanks,

-- Sam

I'll leave it to Mo to respond with specifics, but we can address all of your concerns throughout the seminar.
Fit, game, posture, etc.
Its worth your time, trust me, its more than just a seminar, its a weekend experience.
We are getting a lot of repeat customers because they want to continue getting great results.
MANY success stories, and MANY entries already this year, and its early.

Hey Mav, prices are going up for hotels in response to Saratoga's horse track opening day being July 19th this year. Blame the SPA.

Its Saratoga, history & horse racing.
If people havent booked their hotels, they should.
The Microtel went up from $60/night to $67/night this week.

Hi Mav,

I'll look up a hotel this weekend and respond back. I've always been interested in joining a clinic so it's now or never.

Thanks,

Just pointing out the potential reason for the jump in price. ;)

Does anyone know any relatively safe neighborhood about 30-45
minutes away from the area? I don't mind driving a little further to get there... Not a big fan of paying out my butt because I m competing against concert goers.

Thanks,

I posted hotels in Latham, a pretty safe area north of Albany.
See the post above.

Thanks MegaMav!!! I was on my phone and couldn't see that well. Now that I am back on the computer, I book the room. Please put me down for both days (let me know if you need anything from me)! Should I bring a notebook/video camera/travel size courtroom stenotype operator?

Thanks again,

Great! I've got you marked down.
I would bring:

Notebook, pen/pencil, a few extra dry shirts, gatorade, icy hot.
You will be working muscles and tendons you've never worked before, you will be sore.
Ask the previous attendees, your butt will be on fire.

I personally wont be filming any information from the clinic, as its possible that some information isnt meant for public consumption on the internet. You can bring video camera for your 1 on 1 sessions with Mo on Sunday. For Saturday, I would focus on learning the concepts in class and applying them on the lanes. This recommendation is based on being a part of this seminar for 3 years.

I see we are evaluating tilt, rev's, rpm and axis if rotation per the pdf file, but will there be some time to actually measure my parameters at the seminar?

Thanks

The response so far has been tremendous.
Over the past 2 weeks we're at 25 signups for various packages, 20 signed up for both days!
This is a historic pace, this event will be a major one for this area, dont miss out!
