3 pack 8 pins means I had a stone 8 pin 3 times, and cost me a lot of sticks.
2 with the Xeno and 1 with the Jackpot.

Good luck J_w73, I've averaged 233 over the last 2 weeks and 234 over the last month. :)
Good luck to everyone, this is always fun and will be an interesting 4 weeks.

Imagine that. I bet I draw the highest set of the week. That is my luck usually.. so I'm used to it.

Sorry to hear of your injury.
Since you posted after competition started, I will not be re-seeding the bracket, and you will receive a "No Score".
Best of luck in your recovery.

ok thanks. not impossible to bowl but too painful and probably not good for it. I know some others intended to bowl who said they didn't know about it in time is why I pisted. I tried to bowl a game today for tonight's league but couldnt finish after 4 frames.

I could throw a conventional ball suitcase style just to put some scores up. it didn't hurt to throw a light house ball too much just fingertip is out of the question.

Anyone else here really nervous about this thing? it is almost 3am I haven't gone to bed yet and later today is my 1 and only bowling attempt at this. This is almost as bad or worse as having 11 in a row standing up for the 12th strike of a 300 game. The first thing through my mind is, what if I start missing spares. Then what if I start getting splits. What if I start throwing the ball wrong and missing the mark. Then there is this not knowing exactly how many pins I even need. How good is good enough? Anyone else feeling this?

Lay off the caffeine, and take some melatonin before bed... :) It's for fun. One shot at a time, work on the deep breathing and stay relaxed.

Well, I only get bad breaks and never good ones. So my chances of advancing are slim. I will try my best though.

Just beat me so I dont have to bowl my own teammate next week.
It would be a spectacle to see 2 teammates woofing at each other the last game of the night.
RJ's taken enough bad beats this year, he doesnt need another one.

Had a rough day today. Only could muster 2 hours of undisturbed sleep the whole day but took enough naps that I was ok. I have been waiting on this day for like 2 weeks now and things couldn't start off any worse. I used the bathroom before I drove to the bowling alley and everything was good. (made sure it was good). I get out of the car at the bowling alley and I feel my underwear stuck to my butt and was like oh no. ( I have been having issues with "leaks" in the past year and a little worried about that. No leaks while on atkins diet though so I don't know what is going on.) I go to the bathroom and see that stuff and try to clean up the best I can as there is no time to go back home. Now I have to worry can anyone smell it etc. (I am sorry for even writing this but I have to let someone know what I had to deal with today.) bowling alley is 20 min away and it was 10 min time to bowl.

So anyway, I start getting my balls out and notice a gash several inches long on my Hy-road (if you look at the score sheets I posted yesterday in the UFO bowling thing, you see it took me longer then normal. Instead of 7 min a game, the last 2 games took 14 min. My ball got stuck back there twice during those 2 games.) So the main ball I have been using all week is out of commission. I am not trained enough yet to play too far left and use the rocketship. I ended up taking 7 balls to the bowling alley and using only the weakest ball and worst rolling ball I have which is the Storm Match. I don't think that, that ball even got into the roll phase once. I might be wrong. I did start at 22 throwing at 10 inside of 8. That ball is drilled to take some backend out also so I didn't have too much backend help.

So anyway Preoaks, if you beat me, you will beat me using the cheapest, lowest reactive bowling ball I own and not the "good stuff". You can choose between your 5-6 or however many leagues you are on, compared to my 1 that I am on, but you have to deal with everyone else. So you need to pick the league you want to continue to bowl on. I will give you a hint to my score. I didn't even get my average the last game. I missed a 10 pin because I slowed my swing down and also probably walked more straight then diagonal that I am used to walking. I got 5-6 9 counts that last game also. The first game would have been good if I didn't get a solid 10 pin stopping me from 5 in a row. When you post your scores, I will post mine. If you take me out, hopefully you take everyone else out in this tournament.

I had a very good set last night, shot 792. 279, 257, 256. I had a chance at 800, left a ringing 7-pin on my first shot in the 10th frame of game three, spared it and struck for 792. It wasn't me best shot, I knew it was a 7-pin off my hand, just didn't quite get through the release properly. I was pleased with a clean set, used the Brunswick Danger Zone Vintage all night, gave me a great look through the pins.

Well, you better hope league secretary is updated with your score by Sunday, because if it isnt... No Score.
This is why I encourage getting a photo of your sheet.

Struggled all year.. both leagues.

either tugging it or dumping it outside all year. would throw up a couple X's then splits splits and more splits.

Got some good advice on what I am doing wrong and worked on it this week. Paid off with my first 700 of the year. My Visionary stuff was working fine first game, but had to try the Primal Fear (gotta use the new toys) 247 with a hole in the 2nd and 267.

First night all year I left the house with a smile on my face.

Congrats on the good series! I shot an uninspired 673, on a tough pair.
We took 6/8 pts, so at least our team ended up doing ok.

Can we get a losers bracket going? ;)
