pitch/span question for customer with pain
i have a customer whos fingers aren't too terrible stiff, but he is having pain in his ring finger, nail side. i've increased the pitch from 1/8 to 5/16 on the finger. His span cut to cut is 4 1/2 4 9/16. hole size and span are correct based on measurement. Should i increase the pitch again, shorten the span or both??? open to ideas. he left me 2 junker balls to try somthing on them. thanks!

i did....its strange, he feels no pressure while having just his finger and thumb in the ball, just feels pain and swelling during bowling. i'm thinking we're goin to shorten the span on it 1/8th and change the pitch from 5/16 to 3/8 and see how it feels on one ball......then go from there on the other.
