Turbo Switchgrip Bit vs Ultimate Bit

Post by androooo »

Proshop here only has the Turbo drillbit for Switchgrips. I don't like the switchgrips, as I have broken a few, and scared me off.

I can order the Ultimate interchangables, but what I want to know is, is the Turbo bit compatible with the Ultimate system. I know the size is the same (1.5") but is the depth any different? Would it still work?

I have done this. You can use the turbo bit, but it will not match the bit issued by Brunswick... that bit is a wee bit deeper into the ball. So wherever you have it installed you would always want them to turbo depth if you go that route.
