I dont think its as thick as the white and it its a little slicker.
Its main selling point is the easy removal without "gumming up".
I replace my tape so often that doesnt happen with any tape.

I use it. It’s to improve gripping power on the front side of the thumb hole via texture like white tape. Its better than the white tape in that it doesn’t get as gooey the white tape over time, which became as problem after the EPA made the manufacturer change the chemical(s) used in the manufacturing of the tape and/or adhesive. The Real Bowler’s tape has been painted silver to help keep that from happening. I like it

I've used the Silver Real Bowlers Tape, As Megamav said it's is thinner than most white tapes and has a very smooth texture. The only real problem I had with the batch I had was some of them didn't want to come off the backing paper it was on cleanly.

Also because it's thin it's can be a little floppy putting it in the hole and if you have to layer some in the hole to tighten it up You might use a lot more than you would with others.

It's all going to come down to personal preference and the feel you want.

Years ago, a pro told me she liked thinner tape, because it allowed more gradual change. She was using a big roll of yellow 3M tape.

and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.
