Middle finger issues

Post by Rjf300 »

I'm having this tearing going on with my middle finger.span is properly measured. My clt is 16 deg.

My finger pitches are 3/4away, and 1/2 left of the middle and 3/4 away and 5/16 right on the ring.

What do I change ?

Looks like you're right-handed.

According to the Morich Fitting Guide (AKA the "wikifit") you'd need 5/16" LEFT in the MF, and 9/16" RIGHT in the RF.

The lateral pitches you've described are backwards.

Do you use grips?
They should be rotated to line up with your CLT.

Also, it's winter and the air is dry. Your skin is more likely to tear now than during the warm, humid summer months. So you may not see this at others times during the year. Some kind of hand cream may also be helpful.

I do use grips and turn them. If I use wiki pitches it's worse

Try reversing the pitches. I would suggest going like 0-1/4" left on middle and 3/4-1/2" right on ring.

Like said above your pitches are for a Lefty with that CLT not a righty
