Hi!
I have for the past 5 years been proven to squeeze my ball to much. I have since then drilled my thumb with IT, lateral pitch (left?)and 1/4-1/8 (somewhere there) forward pitch, oval thumb to get passed the idea of squeezing the ball. Now I have a thumb that is snug and I don't feel any excessive grip pressure, I dont hit up on the ball.
Still, I'm proven to have thumb injuries pointing to high grip pressure like a very acute bruising latteralwise from outer part of the thumb and in to the middle (pictured below). this on the front of the thumb. I experience "bowler's thumb" and I have bruising under the nail and injury north west of the nail (seen in picture together with bruising). I am also prawn to hang up on the thumb with release when I feel my hole is snug and the grip very relaxed.
Any driller out there keen to help me?

Re: Yet another bruising question- Exessive front thumb brus
You're either squeezing it, have too much forward in the thumb or both.
I think its squeezing from too large of a thumb hole.
That bruise is from catching the front edge of the thumb hole.

Thank you. I can't see how I squeeze the ball now, and the thumbslug is changeable and on the line to be too snug. So, it is the front side of the slug that making this bruises?MegaMav wrote:You're either squeezing it, have too much forward in the thumb or both.
