The bowling alley has a A22 Envoy Brunswick machine and they need a chart or something to program the machine with. I am trying to make since of this and it looks like all these are very similar. The difference is the pattern volume of oil. They all look the same to me. Is anything really different about any of the patterns besides the volume amount? (also maybe distance I didn't check each distance). I am looking for one that is closest to the guess of what is out there now. Everyone I talk to says you have to play straight at the start and it starts to slowly open up.

Re: Reading oil lane pattern machine charts
Yes, these charts can be used to programming lane machine.
I can see very big differences on these patterns.
There is HUGE difference between 27.62 ml and 19.02 ml oil on 39 feet length pattern. On first one you need to have bowling ball with very strong coverstock to make it hook and last one is so dry that you need bowling ball with very weak coverstock.
All of these are sport patterns but there is big differences on ratios of these patterns so they are very different to play.
