Bruise on middle finger nail
I have a bowler with a bruise on his middle finger. I keep moving the pitch back and I'm already at 1" reverse. Any suggestions?

Did you adjust the span also? Too long of a span can cause it also, along with a too tight hole/insert.rmiera wrote:I have a bowler with a bruise on his middle finger. I keep moving the pitch back and I'm already at 1" reverse. Any suggestions?
"REMEMBER, it isn't how much the ball hooks, it's where."

Not much new information but anyway:

What kind of inserts does the bowler use, if any? You could experiment using the power lift-side instead of perfect oval for example (or vice versa) and see if that is more comfortable. Most likely this is a span-issue, i believe.
