Given the last can pic, I'd try 3/8 right and 3/8 reverse in the thumb. Hanging up trying to rotate the ball is classic left-when-I-need-right pitching, especially if it feels like it's grabbing on the inside web and left tip of the thumb.
Yes, I had them reversed. Just fixed the posting. I'll try 3/8" Right x 3/8" Reverse on the thumb next time around.

Thanks!

I drilled an old ball, and gave it a test last night. For various reasons, I ended up drilling it close to, but not quite the same as the WikiFit.
Increased the span, but kept nearly the same pitches I had been using before. Thumb felt very comfortable with adequate bevel.

The span felt good, but a small amount of pressure on my fingernails unless I tightened up on my grip.
On most shots, I had some trouble clearing the thumbhole cleanly. If I went straight ahead with full forward roll, I cleared just fine.
Any type of rotation (typical 45+) and I would hang on the thumb and pull left.

Span increased by 1/8" and 1/4"
Added reverse pitch to ring finger
A little less reverse pitch in the thumb (accidental)

Old -

Middle 4 13/16" span, 1/4" Left x 1/4" Rev
Ring 4 7/8" span, 1/2" Right x 0
Thumb 1/2" Left x 5/8 to 3/4" Rev

Last Night's Test -

Middle 4 15/16" span, 1/4" Left x 1/4" Rev
Ring 5 1/8" span, 1/2" Right x 1/4" Rev
Thumb 1/2" Left x 1/2" Rev

Next Attempt - WikiFit? A bit less span, slight adjust on fingers, less left on thumb?

Middle 4 7/8" span, 5/16" Left x 3/16" Reverse
Ring 5 1/16" span, 9/16" Right, 5/16" Reverse
Thumb 1/8" Left x 5/8" Rev

Or? Try some positive/right pitch with the thumb? What about forward/reverse?

I'm sure I had been told this repeatedly, but this post (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9611&p=76783&hilit= ... tch#p76783" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
was the one where I finally went "Aha!" we're really talking about how the thumb hinges at the joint.
It's hard to capture in a photo that you take yourself, but I'm thinking it's probably more like 3/8" (ring finger) to 5/8" (pinky) positive/right.

make sure your fingers are parallel around the can. Letting them point down like that can skew the results you see. And make sure the base of the thumb is on a line that runs around the can from in between the index and middle finger.
Right Handed, 16-17 mph off hand (14 -15 mph on Qubica reading) ,350 rpm,PAP 4 3/4 x 1/4 up, 17 deg axis tilt, varied rotational axis deg.. usually 45+
Book Average 210+

I've been trying to keep my fingers parallel and my thumb joint in the same plane. My index finger kind of naturally curves downward (broken that one too a few times), and then when you try and turn your hand to take a picture it looks like it's off. I had my wife take a picture with me holding it away and the picture looks exactly the same.
