Brunswick Revolver Review

Post by JBelschner »

Layout: 70x5.5x45
Surface: out of box

Company intent (from Brunswick’s website):

With its 4,000 Siaair Micro Pad finish, the Revolver will provide good length with a strong continuous back-end reaction that matches up on medium to oily lane conditions for a wide range of bowling styles.

My thoughts:

Brunswick upgraded the ConneXion coverstock (Wild Thing, Wild Ride, and Wild Card) to the new ConneXion Grip. The new cover creates more traction with the lane creating a strong midlane roll and a very continuous motion in the backend. Also, the new Jack core creates a high flare potential because of the .054 differential. Basically, this ball hooks. It makes a very strong motion to the pocket. The ball does some oil to get down the lane because it is strong, but it will hook on just about anything. This is a great medium to heavy oil ball.
