I love my IQ Tour Solid. It has proven to be a great benchmark/control piece on flatter/harder patterns. The one surprise I got from it is how strong it is. It covers a lot of boards but does so in a very predictable manner. Definitely a good ball to have in one's arsenal.

I have both the IQ Tour Solid and the IQ Tour Pearl. They are great for my game as low rg solid balls tend to burn up at my toes. This balls skids the heads so and retains energy so much better than other solid balls.

Re: Storm IQ , and IQ tour edition
I've been using the IQ Tour for over a year now. Loved it when i got it, don't use it much these days. Never seems to match up any more. I can't explain why, but I can no longer get it to the pocket with any energy. I've tried grits from 1000 to polished, and at different centers, no luck, just won't turn the corner and drive through the pins like it used to. I'm not giving upon it though, as it was a carry machine 12 months ago.
I think also it is suffering in comparison to my Motion Holed Disturbed, which is just unbelievable.

Re: Storm IQ , and IQ tour edition
I also own a Storm IQ Tour solid (the dark blue one) and have used it for about a year now. For me, it's an excellent control piece on medium-light to medium oil. I'm speed dominant, so I have it drilled 30 x 4 1/2 x 45 and use it with either 1000 or 2000 surface depending on the length of the pattern. As a general rule, I use it with 1000 surface on any pattern longer than 38 feet ... shorter than 38 gets 2000 surface. This has helped the ball work well for me, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who has even a little bit of hand. That said, since neither the cover or core are particularly strong, I can see how this ball may not help folks who are rev-challenged.
