Top weight question...

Post by leftykev »

After discussing ball specifics with my ball driller, based upon my stats, he recommends i go with longer pins and low top weight, to help minimize the overall size of the weight hole (if necessary). Would a ball with top weight in the range of 2.0 to 2.5 oz be considered low?

thanks!

Its on the low end of acceptable top weight.
Below 1.7 is too low.

With 2.2 top weight, most layouts should end up with no hole as long as the heavy spot doesnt venture too far out.

Remember, we want extra holes to fine tune reaction.
If you dont have enough side and thumb weight, the effect of these holes will be reduced as it will limit the size.

Trust your driller, I think Andrew is your guy.
