Arsenal Trains of Thought?

Post by RW972 »

Hello, I am currently a low to mid rev lefty who is looking to add a couple new pieces to his bag. I know it is hard to give recommendations without seeing me bowl. I just wanted to see what people's thought processes are when it comes to developing arsenals on the left side. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to BowlingChat

Leftys typically will have stronger layouts and lower grit surfaces due to less traffic on that side of the lane.
What balls are you currently using?

To properly set up an arsenal you need to know your release specs.

What Eric says.

Also, in addition to your release specs (speed/rev rate, tilt, rotation and PAP), we need to know what surface you’re bowling on (AMF, Brunswick, Wood?) and what patterns (house shot or sport conditions).
