Trying to find a ball

Post by Juststartin »

Just bowled for the first time in years and used another bowlers random ball. Had the best game I ever played. Can someone help me find this ball?

It would've helped if you had told us the name of that ball you liked. The place to start would be asking the other bowler where he got it, Then go to the proshop and see if they can get or got it.

Sorry everyone... I tried to attached pictures. Not sure why they didn’t post. Says Global 900 and 15lbs. It only had two holes and they were small with green rubber grips.

Is there a minimum number of posts before you can post an image? That's a common practice in forums. . .

Polished or lane shine, Equilibrium? It's made by Global 900

Thank you. I think that might be it. Do you know what drill hole size and names this would be? It only has two holes my finger tips barely fit but the rubber grips nice.

When you go to a pro shop to get a ball and have it drilled the pro shop operator should measure your fingers. You will need to convey that you only want to use two fingers vs two fingers and thumb. They probably also have multiple color grip choices for you to choose from.

Juststartin, welcome to Bowlingchat.

Many Bowler's include a ball dedicated to converting spares (polyester, aka plastic)
The saying "straighter is greater" rings true for converting spares, especially corner pins.

Check out the Bowlingchat wiki, it is a very diverse resource.

I hope you are back to stay and will enjoy the sport for many years to come.

Be safe, be well, be happy.
May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.

I don't think so, Equilibrium is pretty much brown all around.

Looks more like "Honey Badger Extreme"

The Equilibrium is maroon & plum, at least that's the manufactures description.

I noticed that the mfg's etching (900 Global) is very clear and hasn't been sanded out of existence.
I would think that the serial number and ball model should be equally visible on the other side of the ball. No?
I guess it could be a Dream On (blue/purple/black), depending on which side of the ball is photographed.

If you just google images of it, you will see, it's quite different. Website images are very often quite different from the real color anyway. That's why you should search for real photos of the actual ball.
Also the letters on Equilibrium are yellow. This guy's mystery ball has orange lettering. Which is why it looks a lot like a Honey Badger Extreme.

I only drilled one Equilibrium, so, just offered a guess. Glad you did the research on it.
