Need help with choosing a new ball please

Post by Jp6940 »

Just a little info to help you out. I don’t really know the correct terminology but I will do my best to describe my bowling style.

Current balls are a bit dated.
Quantum red pearl
Track Equation
Track nrg
Columbia White Dot (10 pin spare ball)

I am a high track bowler (track runs about 1” from thumb hole)
15mph
Not a cranker and don’t put much spin on the ball.
Average 210 on a 40ft pattern
Stand on the 23 and aim for the 8-10 arrow on the lane

Looking at:
Track In2ition
Columbia Baller
Ebonite GB3 Hybrid
Track Spare + (spare ball)

I’m always skeptical of new releases because of all the staffers hyping on Facebook and their YouTube review videos. I like to watch events to see what is actually being thrown with money on the line, but there are some like E.J. and WRWjr who will always throw the latest release. So with that being said, GB3 is the only one I know that has some credibility behind it. Id personally give them a couple months and see what is actually being used.

If you are still searching ...

There is a certain amount of information available for free at:

https://www.bowlingthismonth.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also via internet search for "bowler's journal ball guide"

Both Bowling This Month and Bowler's Journal are available on the internet.

Bowling This Month is the only periodical that focuses on educating bowler's.
Bowler's Journal offers a token amount of instructional articles.

https://www.bowlersjournal.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Knowledge is your best investment.
May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness
and to that freedom for all.

Yeah, I just seen some of the review videos of the Storm Phaze 3 that have come out so far. This ball is sick. Storm may have out did themselves with this ball.
My Arsenal: Storm Supernova, Storm Absolute, Storm Phaze 3, Rotogrip Idol Cosmos, 900 Global Zen Master, and Storm Punch Out
