Just looking for a little info.
Is there a manufacturer out there that offers a ball that has the exact same core throughout the weight range 12-16? Same RG and Diff.
Not including stuff like the Storm Mix...I mean a performance oriented ball.
Thanx in advance,

Re: Bowling Ball Cores
Brunswick on some balls offered what they used to call "Light Weight Engineering" where they could use the same core on weights between 12-16 lbs and the only difference was a slightly higher RG as the ball weight went down, but the Diff remained the same from weight to weight.
I think the Rhino's were like that. I would check out Brunswick balls.

Re: Bowling Ball Cores
I believe Motiv still uses the same shape core in all weights for a given ball. Don't think they use a generic core for lighter weight balls.

Re: Bowling Ball Cores
Part of my December 2017 post.... Motiv uses their same cores throughout weight range though at lower density, but doesn’t make their most aggressive balls in weights lower than 14. Storm makes a few using same core but most use generic. At least their web site makes it easy to see what core is used at each weight for any given ball. Everyone else seems to use generic cores in lower weights and you have to ask them to find that out

Re: Bowling Ball Cores
The cover is a constant weight on said ball unless different cover formular used, only way to make a ball lighter or heavier is by changing the density of the core or shell that surrounds the core. This is why most balls under 14lbs have a generic type core.
