Hi I’m Stewart, I’m just really getting into bowling I’ve had my own ball for a while now but it’s only a Columbia 300 white dot. I have also started bowling 2 handed which has boosted my average to about 155 from 125. I’m looking for a good entry level ball with a mid to heavy performance weight block. I’ve been looking at storm and hammer mainly, I’d also like to stay in the under $125 range. Thx in advance.
PS: I’m a lefty
PSS:I’m a tweener

Re: Entry level ball
Brunswick Twist not a bad option either if you're 2 handed.

Re: Entry level ball
My customers have liked the Storm Surge as an entry level or dry lane ball. C300 Messenger is another option, but in my experience, the ball does not flare as much as the surge, tends be a softer at the breakpoint, and reads the front a bit earlier on dry lanes.
IMO, layout for this class of low-flaring balls: 3.75" pin-PAP and set the VAL angle flare safe and to shape the backend. Longer and shorter pins may end up with poor bowtie formation and a tendency to carrydown.

Re: Entry level ball
I just did a ton of research and went with the Columbia 300 Resurgence ( a hybrid stock), symmetrical ball with a very low RG.
After 4-5 pros were freaking out about it's response and consistency, I was sold.
The Heat Lava also looks promising but wasn't avail at the demo day.
