Motiv's Covert Tank

Post by magicmike »

So Motiv's latest release is marketed as not Reactive Resin, and not Urethane, but something new, barely oil absorbent.

I punched one out or curiosity as it's always bugged me how power players can get really good ball reaction with Purple Hammers, and other "urethane" balls on the market, and when I try my Purple Hammer, well, it ain't pretty.

The Covert Tank for me gets through the heads pretty well, not instantly grabby like traditional urethane, and then it rolls really smoothly on the backend, like what a "Urethane" does for a Power player.

I'll be toying around with this piece this summer, but so far I really dig what i'm seeing, it definitely should prove useful.

P.S. Not a Motiv staffer, and am a firm believer in control layouts on reactives are better than urethane for most people, but I never quite get that urethane shape you see power guys get, so I'm always tinkering away
